A major retail chain has been selling its water dispensers in Walmart stores for $3.95.
Walmart’s new “water dispensers” will be sold at a number of stores across the US.
They are part of the retailer’s commitment to making its water supply cleaner, more hygienic and more affordable.
A Walmart spokesperson told Reuters that the new dispensers will be “an excellent investment for our customers”.
Walmart has a lot of water dispensing customers in the US, where its retail stores are among the most expensive places to buy groceries.
It’s the third time in three years that Walmart has launched its own water dispensering devices.
In January, the retailer announced it would start selling its brand-new water dispensER water dispenses in stores in the United States and Canada, starting in November.
The new dispenser models come in two types: a single-use model that dispenses a full glass of water for 20 seconds, and a reusable water dispensable that can be refilled for 15 seconds.
It also announced a $4.99 price increase on its new dispensing devices.
It’s not the first time Walmart has come out with a new water dispensermatic to compete with competitors.
Walmart launched its water-bottle dispenser in 2016.
Other brands including Walmart, Target and Home Depot have also introduced their own water-dissipating devices in the past.
