An Amazon.co.uk user has shared a video showing off a recipe for a Purell dispensing dispenser.
In the video, an Amazon.ca user explains how he got his hands on a Purella dispenser for his kitchen.
The user, named JK, says he started making homemade Purell bottles and dispensers for his son’s school when he was just a kid, and now he’s a father of two.
He shared a screenshot of the recipe with ABC News that shows off the basic ingredients.
The video shows off a few of the other ingredients, including baking soda and water.
He also mentions that the dispenser has an ability to be filled with a mixture of water and purell powder, which the user notes can be useful for mixing and dispensing with water.
The Purell recipe he shared with ABCNews, which uses a single water bottle for dispensing the powder, comes with a total of 16 ingredients, though the user suggests that he could have used different bottles for each of the 16.
He explains that the Purell bottle has a large plastic rim that he uses to hold the powder in place, and then a hole that he opens up with a toothpick.
The maker says the dispensers he uses are made of stainless steel, and that the powder is poured into the dispensing area of the dispensering bottle.
