If you’re a soda maker, you might be wondering what to do with the leftover cans you make.
It’s not that they’re no good, it’s just that they take up a lot of space in your canning jars, and they’re often the easiest way to save money.
Here’s how to make reusable soda bottles for your kids.
Wash the canning jar to remove any dirt and grease from the lid and top.
This is the easiest step.2.
Make a small hole in the bottom of the canner jar.
You’ll need this for the top to hold the lid securely together.3.
Fill the hole with hot water, and fill the rest of the hole, and add a bit of vinegar to taste.4.
Add a little salt to taste and place a piece of plastic in the middle of the jar.5.
Place the lid on the can and allow it to sit for at least three hours to dry completely.6.
Use the lid to pour a small amount of hot water into the can.7.
Allow the can to sit in the cannery for at the very least an hour.8.
If you use the lid, you’ll need to carefully remove the lid from the jar, as the lid can be difficult to unscrew.9.
When ready to use the can, remove the can from the canners jar.
If there is leftover liquid inside, just use it to fill the other canner with water.10.
When the water level is at or below the bottom, you can pour it into the other pot.11.
Continue to pour the water into your other canners, and then add a splash of hot vinegar.12.
Remove the lid.
Repeat steps 1 through 6 until you’ve finished filling your canner jars.
