Hero’s patented device dispenses the medicine in a convenient, single-use bag.
The device is available in multiple sizes and colors, which can be ordered online or by calling the company at 800-853-6333.
In addition to the Hero medication, the company sells other health products like skin creams and lip balms.
But the company’s biggest sales hit is in the area of prescription medication.
In 2018, Hero’s sales doubled compared to the previous year, according to company CEO Paul Koehler.
It is the only company that has made this kind of big impact on prescription drug sales in the United States.
Hero’s latest revenue, though, is still relatively small compared to its rivals.
It generated $2.5 million in revenue in 2018, compared to $10 million for all of 2018, according the company.
But that doesn’t mean Hero’s success doesn’t have its downside.
Many prescription drug makers struggle to make their medicines as accessible to the public.
And many people don’t use them as often.
In the meantime, some health professionals worry that Hero’s technology could one day be used to make the medicines more accessible.
